MAMCE follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and ragging-free campus for all students.

Ragging Curb Committee

The Ragging Curb Committee oversees the implementation of the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and ensures strict compliance with all anti-ragging guidelines.

Objectives

• Promote awareness of a ragging-free and respectful campus culture.
• Educate students on the legal, social, and psychological consequences of ragging.
• Monitor and prevent ragging incidents within and outside the campus.
• Take prompt disciplinary action against individuals involved in ragging, directly or indirectly.

Anti-Ragging Squad

The Anti-Ragging Squad functions under the guidance of the Ragging Curb Committee and ensures effective enforcement of anti-ragging measures across the campus.

Functions

• Maintain vigilance in classrooms, hostels, canteens, buses, playgrounds, and other student areas.
• Respond immediately to complaints or incidents of ragging.
• Conduct awareness and orientation programmes to promote positive student interactions.
• Coordinate with the Ragging Curb Committee to implement preventive measures and ensure compliance with UGC regulations.
