Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at MAMCE fosters a culture of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving among students. Established under the initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), IIC encourages students and faculty to develop innovative ideas, engage in research, and transform concepts into impactful solutions through workshops, competitions, expert talks, and innovation-driven activities.

Purpose & Direction

Objectives

◆Promote innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking. ◆Provide mentorship and support for student innovators. ◆Create a vibrant innovation and startup ecosystem on campus. ◆Encourage participation in national innovation initiatives, rankings, and competitions. ◆Facilitate industry-academia collaboration for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Action & Engagement

Functions

◆Conduct innovation and entrepreneurship activities as prescribed by MIC. ◆Identify, nurture, and recognize innovative ideas and projects. ◆Organize workshops, seminars, hackathons, boot camps, and ideation contests. ◆Facilitate interactions with entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, and mentors. ◆Promote networking with innovation and entrepreneurship development organizations. ◆Showcase faculty and student innovations through institutional innovation platforms. ◆Support startup initiatives and entrepreneurial ventures among students.

IIC serves as a platform for nurturing innovative ideas and empowering students to become future entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers.
