About Civil Engineering
Department of Civil Engineering the latest of branches in MAMCE was started in the academic year 2009-10. The discipline deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.
Vision
"To advance knowledge and educate students in Civil Engineering and its related fields that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century. To generate, disseminate, and preserve knowledge, and to work with others to bring this knowledge to bear on the world's great challenges. To provide its students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse campus community. To develop in each member of the community the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and effectively for the betterment of humankind."
